Alexandra Hills Raiders Basketball Club Inc (Alex Hills Raiders) is one of the foundation clubs of the RedCity Roar Basketball Association. The aim of our club is to provide the opportunity for both boys and girls to learn the skills necessary to play basketball to the highest level they are capable of, and in line with their personal aspirations. We cater for all levels and abilities in basketball, with a focus on developing our players, coaches, and officials. We believe that basketball should be an enjoyable leisure pursuit for both players and their families, and so we strive to nurture and promote community spirit, and gladly welcome anyone to join our club and revel in all aspects of basketball with us.
We are a not-for-profit organisation run by hard working volunteers.
Our colours are green, black and white and we are known as the Alex Hills Raiders.Â
We train at Alex Hills State High School hall during the week. Times and days are determined by agreement between coaches and players once teams are formed and are subject to school hall availability.
We participate in the RedCity Roar junior competition and these games are predominantly played at the PCYC in Degen Road and The Paul Bancroft Centre at Cleveland District State High School. We do play at other venues around the Redlands from time to time, depending on court availability and as directed by RedCity Roar per their fixtures schedule Juniors – RedCity Roar
